People Watching - Cracked I've watched it 3 times but I haven't had many people to talk about it with.I'm due for a re-watch after I finish my essay. I think the characters are so well written and thought that some people here may enjoy it. 🥰 The whole series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2KyNCQWth5uajER5uJXFaOLMW_rNUHoW

Limited series with Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. Weird sci-fi with great characters. Feel like it’s a good one for when you’re sick cause you don’t need to focus heavily cause it’s mostly vibes and good characters and great set and costume design rather than like needing to grab every plot point. it’s just a solidly great show and I wanna do a rewatch soon which is what probably prompted this!

And the only one I‘ve watched twice. A perfectly formed series. Not too long. Fantastic acting, styling, cinematography. A simple but compelling storyline and a satisfying ending. Will have to watch it again soon.

”Yo, fam! Squid Game, rewatch ASAP! It's straight fire, mad intense vibes! Trust, the storyline's like a rollercoaster, and the colors poppin' make it a visual feast, ya know? Plus, deep themes that'll get your brain buzzin'! Get on that grind, binge it, and thank me later, for real!”

“Please do not be cynical. I hate cynicism – it's my least favorite quality, and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen.” dealing with disappointment but remembered this and realised it might not work out the way i planned out but that's okay. made it my lockscreen to remember it. also context - NBC was really fucking him over here. it was his last tonight show episode I think, so it means a lot that he specifically was like cynicism leads nowhere.

Great film directed by Gurinder Chadha. About a British Indian girl who joins a women's football team which her parents don't approve of. This film made waves for British Asian representation. It does a great job of balancing social commentary with comedy.
