Every winter Apteka, a self-described "Central + Easter European (vegan) kitchen+bar / Natural wine bottle shop", in Pittsburgh, PA (Bloomfield/Garfield) closes its doors for a few weeks and transforms into Crapteka, a vegan burger and fry pop-up w/ vegan burgers, fries, yuba sandwiches, salads, sunflower seed vegan milkshakes, cakes, house-made Crapteka sodas on tap, and cocktails with pineapples.
This year its open 5pm-10pm Fri-Sun from Jan 19th through Feb 4th.
As someone with a nut allergy I'm usually pretty limited in my options, however, this year they informed me that all of the burgers (minus the baba), the stoner salad, and the bbq yuba have been made nut-free!
