listened to this for the first time yesterday pretty much in one go which was a lot but had it on sort of in the background while studying so it wasn’t too heavy
loved the range in these songs and although it’s great i’m glad the voice changed between songs cause i think the deep voice would’ve been a bit much for 69 songs straight

i take perfect pop songs Very seriously. it’s an art. perused my perfect pop playlist and settled on this song bc it makes me wanna white girl dance with my hands above my head so bad. that chorus is just so joyous.
A lovely person from the Music League (who has yet to be revealed) submitted a song from this album which got me back on a kick.
I also have been listening to a lot of BRAT this week because i’ve been sick one way or another for about a month and when I am sick, I get depressive and I really needed something to bring my energy up.
there’s something so funny about seeing a friend before they notice you cause it’s like a look into what they’re like alone
seeing how they walk when they’re by themselves or their expression when they’re just going about or looking around
still on season 1 but it’s so good and entertaining
watching it cause it’s 90s and kind of mystery similar vibe to twin peaks since it was inspired by it so yas
discovered this song after it came on in the credits for the film the outrun and it’s literally so good
the start literally hooks you with the crazy cool and unique accordion
then the rest of the song is also amazing i love the bittersweet feel of it with the line ‘this is the day your life will surely change’ that most people can relate to when you swear to yourself you’ll break your bad habits to make a better life for yourself, deciding that THIS will be the day youll change but you could say that any day again and again and never actually do anything to change or stick with it
