If youâve been out of it for a minute and itâs your first time back, just go to the gym and futz about and read an article on your phone and drink from your water bottle and maybe use the treadmill or stairmaster for 5 minutes. Itâs important to stay at the gym for at least 30 minutes to start absorbing the âenergyâ of the gym.
Or, lace up your joggers and kinda go for a walk with the âintentionâ or eventually getting into a run/jog but you never actually run. Maybe you pick up some protein powder and crĂ©atine on the way home at the health food store.
This is important to prime your sympathetic nervous system for the fitness to occur in the coming days and weeks and months. Youâre lubricating and warming up the âmind muscle connectionâ. Every journey starts with a first step.
