And honestly I probably didn't have to. I like Mario Kart World enough, but considering all of the legal mumbo jumbo. Digital rights, physical copies, so on and so forth. I didn't need it.
Without a robust launch of titles I look at the thing. I mostly play Vampire Survivor on it. I got an urge to change it to a Linux machine for the lulz.
How ya'll feeling about yours? Or do you still have an urge to wait for the next set to tariff it's way to your country? It's not a bad system, rather there's not a lot here to judge if it's good or bad. I guess if anyone's playing Cyberpunk 2077 on it could speak more about performance.

Bruh im so pissed about the switch 2, nintendo sucks so bad now its so sad cuz they actually rocked. Anyway honestly the biggest thing for my rn is mariokart world. i’m like a huge mariokart fan,, I got super into 8 deluxe a couple years ago, and still looovveee it dude. I’m not like HYPED about World i’ve honestly just been hating on it so much tho so that way it doesnt hurt so much lol. BUT I do really wanna try it and World content is getting recommended to me on insta reels and uhhgg it just makes me sad that nintendo SUUUCCKKSS.

Echoing what's already been said. Here are some specific recs and why:
SWITCH OLED—get this if you like Nintendo games, party games, and having friends over to play games. Yes, "Switch 2" is likely to be announced later this year or early next year, but there is always something "better" around the corner. Get what you want to play now. The Switch OLED will have a good resell value if you decide to upgrade when the next console drops.
PLAYSTATION 5 W/ DISC PLAYER—get this if you want to play Big Games with Big Graphics and/or if you want to play online multiplayer. The disc player is good for buying physical games that you can resell, but I like it because it's also a 4K Blu-ray player so I can also watch my movies that I own on disc.
STEAM DECK OLED—get this if you want PC gaming without building/buy an expensive PC. You won't be able to play the latest and greatest Big Games with Big Graphics but you'll have nearly full access to the wild and weird world of indie games. You'll be able to sample the most with this one. The Steam Deck is mostly a handheld, but you can plug it into a bigger screen or tv easily.

I modded my switch I got off eBay recently and have many many games on it now. I never owned one before and it makes me so happy. I’ve been playing Pokemon and Mario games like I did when I was a kid! I would recommend Mario Galaxy and also Mario Kart it’s really the best party game ever. I’m also a rising user guys. I ’m growing in influence and power.

But I play D&D with a variety of people. As a DM running the game I've learned over the years that you're basically the narrator to the 5 senses for each player's character. So I've upped my descriptor game to give context. That's when I learned that some players have no internal visuals or dialogue... So I have to show them or they can't even guess what a goblin may look like. Many see words. I see them glance down and look as tho they're reading as I describe the world around them. Then I'm not sure if they sorta see it or not. Many also can visualize pretty well, but younger people seem to have no real concept of dimensions. A 30' by 30' room means nothing to them as a reference. Other peoples brains I think are designed to confuse me. lol But I've been alive 4 decades and my own brain baffles me enough sometimes
